Midterm grades reflect your academic progress at about eight weeks into the semester. Although midterm grades are not part of your permanent record and will not be reflected in your semester grade point average (GPA), they are important indicators of how you are doing academically. Ask yourself, does your perception of how you are doing in your courses match your instructors indicators?
Midterm grades are meant to encourage you to get in touch with your instructors and to request academic assistance if it is needed. Take note of your individual grades, as well as your overall GPA.
If your mid-term grades are good – keep up the good work!
If not, it is not too late to improve!
